The to be mom may be your best pal or your close cousin
so buying her the same old stuff will not be special and
custom made for her, she would be expecting something big
from you so trying out new stuff will add more fun to the
family event.
1. You can buy a small sewing machine (like easy sew) and
stitching curtains, stuff toys, towels for the baby. The
satin ribbons available in stores can be stitched like an
outline to the small pillows and bedding.
2. You can even knit a sweater for the baby. It can also
be a nice baby shower gift for mom. Sweaters as gifts,
always add to lot of love and warmth. A small cap or a
muffler can also be made and presented to the baby.
3. On a beautiful handmade paper, you can make a collage
of photographs of the mother and many other sweet
memories. Framing the collage and gifting her will be a
very special handmade baby shower gift.
4. Buying a fur cloth and making small toys for the crib
will also be a nice baby shower gift. The fur toys can be
stuffed with cotton or waste cloth. You can stitch old
buttons for the eyes and nose.
5. You can even make chimes using small toys wound with
metallic twine. This look colourful for the baby and will
be a nice decoration idea for the to be mother.
